Welcome!
New York Babywearing is a volunteer run 501(c)(3) non profit organization which provides free babywearing support and education to caregivers throughout New York State. We currently hold 8 in person meet ups monthly within the Hudson Valley and Syracuse. As well as providing online support to those who are outside of our current meeting area through our Facebook chat group, facebook.com/groups/nybabywearing. A big thank you to all of our sustaining members and generous babywearing companies for their support and donations for NYBW to be able to spread babywearing love.

Our meetings are free and open to the public.

Come get FREE hands on help from experienced babywearing educators with carriers you already own or learn about and try on carriers in our lending library.

Children are welcome and encouraged - bring and learn how to wear babies or big kids! Carriers available from newborn to Preschool/Toddler (up to age 5, or 45lbs, possibly beyond!)

Come meet and socialize with other caregivers!

Join the library to get access to our huge selection of carriers to take home and try!

If you have a special request for a particular carrier or a special carry situation (ex. tandem carry, special developmental considerations, hiking/camping, etc) please feel free to reach out to our page with details so we can prepare resources to best assist you!
What, Why and How to Babywear
Baby Carriers are available to check out from the lending library at all meeting locations. Become a member and check out a different carrier, including doll carriers and season carriers (like babywearing coats and water ring slings) each month.
